Economic Empowerment Program

Our Economic Empowerment Program is dedicated to uplifting single mothers, widows, disabled women, and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) by providing them with the skills, tools, and resources necessary to achieve economic independence, enhance their quality of life, and foster social inclusion.

Program Highlights:

- Vocational Training: We offer a variety of courses, including baking, sewing, organic agriculture, hairdressing, chicken rearing, and farming, designed to equip participants with practical skills to secure employment or start their own businesses.
- Women’s Empowerment: Our program educates women about their rights and promotes economic and social independence, helping them break free from the cycle of poverty and social constraints.

- Support and Counselling: We provide counselling and emotional support for women in distress, particularly victims of violence or social pressure, to help them regain their confidence and sense of self-worth.

- Entrepreneurship Support: We guide women and PWDs through the process of launching and operating small businesses, offering initial capital and ongoing mentorship to ensure success.

- Reusable Pad Production: PWDs receive training and employment opportunities in producing reusable menstrual pads, creating a sustainable source of income and addressing period poverty.

- Chicken Rearing and Farming: We provide single and widowed mothers with the necessary training and resources to engage in sustainable agriculture, offering them a reliable source of food and income.

- Hairdressing and Beauty Services: Women can access vocational training and entrepreneurial support in hairdressing and beauty services, opening doors to self-sustaining careers.

Program Impact Goals:

- Economically empower at least 500 women and PWDs within the first year.
- Create 200 small businesses and employment opportunities for participants.
- Improve the quality of life for at least 1,000 family members by providing sustainable income and employment opportunities.
